THE UNREALIZED ASSETS OF THE POOR MIDDLE & UPPER MIDDLE CLASS

In a world overshadowed by economic uncertainties, where the cost of living skyrockets and the essence of the American dream seems to be slipping through our fingers, a beacon of hope emerges from the unrealized assets of the poor. These assets, often overlooked, hold the key to unlocking a brighter, more prosperous future for many.

The cost of living rises while wages stagnate, where a Ford F150 costs over $100k and fuel prices soar, it's easy to feel trapped in a cycle of debt and despair. The United States is currently grappling with the highest inflation in 40 years, a looming recession, and an unstable housing market. Corporate real estate is in turmoil, and many predict an impending economic depression that will last a minimum of a decade (10 yrs). But amidst this bleak landscape, there's a beacon of hope, a new form of freedom that threatens the very fabric of our debt-based capitalistic society.

The Debt-Based Society and The Beast System

Our nation thrives on a system that encourages us to climb higher income brackets, only to be met with a simultaneous rise in the cost of living. This cycle keeps many in perpetual debt, a well-known strategy propagated by creditors, banks, governments, and corporations. But as the scriptures remind us, we're meant to be the "lenders and not the borrowers" and not to be "in debt to man." It's a call to break free from the chains of societal expectations and forge our path.

The Hidden Treasures Among Us

The scriptures remind us of the value of assets and inheritance. Proverbs 13:22 says, "A good person leaves an inheritance for their children’s children." Many among us, especially in the middle and upper-middle class, possess assets that remain dormant, overshadowed by the pressures of a debt-driven society:

- Home Equity: Homes that could be refinanced or leveraged for growth.

- Informal Savings: Money saved outside traditional banking systems.

- Skills and Talents: Abilities that could be monetized with the right platform.

- Cultural and Artistic Assets: Crafts and arts with potential market value.

- Land Ownership/Raw Land: Plots that could yield long-term benefits.

- Social Networks: Relationships ripe for business opportunities.

- Unused Spaces: Areas that could be rented or used for business.

- Barter Systems: Community-based exchange systems.

- Traditional Knowledge: Indigenous knowledge with market value.

- Entrepreneurial Spirit: Innovative ideas waiting for the right opportunity.

- Physical Labor: Work capabilities that can lead to income opportunities.

- Informal Education: Knowledge gained outside formal systems.

- Remittances: Money sent from abroad, waiting for a wise investment.

- Collective Buying Power: The combined economic strength of communities.

Breaking the Chains of Debt

Romans 13:8 advises, "Owe no one anything except to love each other." Yet, many are ensnared in the debt trap, lured by a system that profits from our indebtedness. This system, "The Beast System," is perpetuated by entities that benefit when we live beyond our means. But a shift is happening. Many seek freedom, turning to unrealized gains, reducing debts, and investing in tangible assets. They're choosing plots of land over luxury homes, sustainable living over status symbols.

It's essential to shift our perspective from what's on the land to what's in the land. Instead of being captivated by the allure of marble countertops or a three-car garage, we should value the minerals, commodities, and potential that the land holds. Imagine the possibilities: using the land to yield crops, setting up a temporary home in an RV or trailer, and drastically reducing the cost of living. By doing so, we can live more sustainably, free from the burdens of excessive financial obligations.

When it comes to transportation, it's time to prioritize utility over status. A vehicle should be seen as a tool, a means to an end, rather than a status symbol. By choosing cars for their functionality and efficiency, we can further reduce our expenses and live within our means.

We should seek work that aligns with our natural talents and passions—work that we can do so efficiently it feels almost effortless. When we operate in our zone of genius, not only do we excel and find satisfaction, but we also position ourselves for greater financial rewards. By adopting these principles, we're not just breaking the chains of debt; we're forging a new path of financial freedom and empowerment. We're choosing to live intentionally, valuing substance over superficiality, and building a legacy that goes beyond material possessions.

A New Dawn of Financial Freedom

Amidst the looming economic challenges, there's a path illuminated by faith and determination. The scriptures guide us, with Psalms 37:21 noting, "The wicked borrows but does not pay back, but the righteous is generous and gives." By recognizing and leveraging our unrealized assets, we can redefine wealth on our terms, outside the confines of a system that doesn't serve our best interests.
